Foreskin Hygiene & Care

Proper hygiene practices for uncircumcised men, especially during the stretching process.

Foreskin Hygiene

Proper hygiene is essential during the stretching process and for ongoing foreskin health.

Daily Cleaning

  1. Gently retract the foreskin as far as comfortable
  2. Rinse with warm water
  3. Avoid soap directly on the glans — it can cause irritation
  4. Pat dry gently
  5. Return foreskin to its natural position

During Stretching Programs

  • Wash hands thoroughly before each session
  • Clean any devices before and after use
  • If using steroid cream, apply to clean, dry skin
  • Watch for signs of infection (redness, swelling, discharge)

Common Issues

Smegma — A natural buildup under the foreskin. Regular cleaning prevents accumulation.

Balanitis — Inflammation of the glans, often from poor hygiene. Keep the area clean and dry.

Paraphimosis — When the foreskin gets stuck behind the glans. Seek immediate medical attention if this occurs.
